SWITCH FOR POST INDICATOR AND OS&Y GATE VALVE

Switch for post indicator series 34 and OS&Y gate valve series 145

The model PCVS is a weather proof and tamper resistant switch for monitoring the open position of a series 34 post indicator either wall or yard and series 145 OS&Y gate valves. Two SPDT ( form C ) contacts are provided which will operate when the valves position is altered from an open state. The unit mounts in a ½ " NPT tapped hole in the post indicator or the yoke of the OS&Y gate valve. The device is engaged by the indicating assembly of the post indicator or the stem of the OS&Y gate valve, actuating switches when the valve is fully open. The unit should be installed, where it is accessible for service.
