Premium 100 service connection valve with SDR11 PE pipe-ends. For drinking water and neutral liquids to max. 20° C. Note: The maximum working temperature is set according to the ISO9080 lifetime requirements for PE pipes, and is therefore not the max. temperature for the valve.

AVK Premium 100 service connection valves are built to last a century. They feature the renowned AVK valve design and offer full traceability of materials and test records. The stem of duplex stainless steel and thrust collar and wedge of Silicon-brass ensure exceptional wear protection, and the external PUR coating provides ultimate corrosion protection. The wedge is fully vulcanised with AVK’s own drinking water approved EPDM rubber compound, and features an outstanding durability due to the ability of the rubber to regain its original shape, the double vulcanization process and the sturdy wedge design.

Variant 36/5X-116
Connection: PE Pipe Ends
Material: Ductile Iron

Features

  • Wedge of Silicon-brass (DZR CW724R) vulcanized with EPDM rubber – both brass and rubber certified for use in contact with drinking water– and  shaped with guides and a special rubber profile ensuring low closing torques
  • Stem of duplex w. 1.4362 stainless steel, wedge stop in acid-resistant stainless steel and rolled threads for high strength
  • Full circle thrust collar provides fixation of the stem and low free running torques. It is made of Silicon-brass (DZR CW724R) for extra wear resistance
  • Triple safety stem sealing with an NBR wiper ring, a polyamide bearing with four NBR O-rings and an EPDM rubber manchette
  • EPDM bonnet gasket fixed in a recess
  • Countersunk and sealed stainless steel A4 bonnet bolts encircled by the bonnet gasket
  • Full bore
  • Low operating torque
  • Fusion bonded 300 µm epoxy coating in compliance with DIN 3476 part 1, EN 14901 and GSK, and external PUR according to EN 10290 type 2 class B for extra cathodic protection.
  • A standard PE pipe is pressed onto the grooved valve end, locked with a steel ring and sealed with a plastic shrink hose. The boltless, full bore PE end connection is tensile resistant and stronger than the PE pipe itself. The PE pipe end enables direct welding into PE pipes resulting in a fast and secure assembly.
Note: The maximum working temperature of 20°C is set according to the ISO9080 lifetime requirements for PE pipes. For higher working temperatures expect a reduction of the PE pipe’s lifetime. Please refer to the local pipe manufacturer for further information.
